Cosmetic Dentistry is an overarching name for a variety of elective procedures. They are designed to improve the health and appearance of your teeth, and go beyond what traditional general dentistry has provided over the years.
Not all dentists are cosmetic dentists. It requires specific, additional training beyond undergraduate school. A qualified cosmetic dentist is often also a qualified neuromuscular dentist,and therefore able to diagnose and treat problems related to the jaw joints.
Before undergoing any procedure, make sure your dentist is a qualified cosmetic dentist. He or she should have specific cosmetic-dentistry training, and should belong to at least one cosmetic dental organization such as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), pacific Aesthetic Continuum PAC-Live, or the American Society of Dental Aesthetics (ASDA).
The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) is generally considered to be the preeminent cosmetic dentistry school in the United States. Dr. Loye is a graduate of LVI and therefore has received rigorous training in both cosmetic dentistry and neuromuscular dentistry.

Or you could have porcelain veneers to give your front teeth a completely new surface and look, and this would take one visit. Invisalign is a longer procedure because it takes months for teeth to be repositioned.
